Michael Calandra is the Executive Vice President of Frank Calandra Inc. and its subsidiaries. He is also President of Marjenn Trucking. He sits on the Board of Directors for Frank Calandra, Inc., Jennmar, Jennchem, and Jennmar Australia. Michael graduated from St. Francis University in 1984 with a BS in Business.
Michael Portwood is the Chief Operating Officer of Jennmar. He has 30 years of experience in the automotive, mining, civil, and manufacturing industries. He graduated from Sue Bennett College with a BA in Business Administration, is a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, and holds an Executive MBA from Xavier University.
Michael’s career began as an intern at Toyota Motor Manufacturing while in college, where he developed a passion for the manufacturing process. During his time in the automotive industry, he gained extensive experience in roles such as tool and die maker, engineering manager, business development leader, and plant manager.
As an entrepreneur, Michael founded multiple businesses, including a tool and die company supporting the automotive industry with the design and manufacture of dies, gauges, and fixtures. He also launched a manufacturing and distribution company serving the mining industry with a wide range of product lines.
Michael later joined Minova, where he served as VP of Operations. He then moved to Orica, serving as GM of Global Projects, where he led efforts to consolidate the global footprint of the explosive supply chain. He subsequently returned to Minova, serving as President for 12 years.
Robert Wise is the Senior Vice President of Operations for Jennmar. He joined the Jennmar team in 2012 and is responsible for all US Jennmar manufacturing plants. He has a total of 37 years experience in the mining, civil and manufacturing industries and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Mining Engineering in May 1981.
Bruce Johnson is the Senior Vice President of Operations. Bruce joined Jennmar in March of 2015. He has 25 years’ experience in the coal industry starting with Massey energy for 17 years. At Massey, he held the position of Divisional Controller, Management Trainee Underground, Divisional President, and Vice President of Purchasing. Bruce also spent five years at United Coal where he was Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Materials Management. Bruce was also Vice President of Purchasing at Foresight Energy before joining Jennmar. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Accounting and earned his MBA at Morehead State University. Bruce earned his CPA license in 1996.
Tim Maziarz, Chief Financial Officer, joined Jennmar in August of 2004. Before joining Jennmar, he worked for Ernst & Young LLP in Pittsburgh from 1995 to 2004 and served as a Senior Manager on various middle market and multinational clients in the manufacturing and construction industries. Tim graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
James Pfeifer is the General Counsel of Jennmar Holdings LLC and Subsidiaries. James joined Jennmar in 2014. He is responsible for the companies’ day-to-day legal matters, manages the companies’ intellectual property portfolio, and oversees all M&A activity. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a JD from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. Before joining Jennmar, he worked as a litigation associate at McGuireWoods, LLP and Pepper Hamilton, LLP.
Drew Morgan is the Chief Operating Officer for Jennchem. Drew graduated Cum Laude from West Virginia University in December 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Mining Engineering. Drew worked for 8 years at Consol Energy as an intern and Supervisor in the Pennsylvania operations. In 2015, Drew joined Jennchem as a Technical Service Engineer and was promoted to the Northeast Regional Manager in October of 2016. He was promoted to COO in January 2020.
Sara joined Jennmar in 2025 as General Manager of Jennmar Sweden, as Jennmar acquired SSABs Expandable Rock Bolt production facility in Virsbo, Sweden. Prior to the acquisition, Sara has 10 years of experience from the steel industry from her time at SSAB, from group strategy and development and special products such as high strength bars and tubes, before becoming general manager of sales and production of the mill in Virsbo in 2021.
Prior to SSAB, Sara also has several years of experience from the energy industry at the Nordic energy company Fortum, mainly working with business development on energy services towards the B2C market.
Sara holds a master in Business and Management Engineering from the Royal institute of Technology in Stockholm and lives with her husband and three kids outside of Stockholm.
A qualified Geotechnical Engineer, Trent has worked for both large and small mining companies on various projects, production, and management positions. Specialties include identifying continuous improvement projects and systems, focusing on safety and development efficiencies. Trent joined JENNMAR in 2009.
