Ultra-X Foam
Ultra-X Foam is a two-component grout that comprises an organomineral activator and modified polyisocyanate intended for:
• Strata consolidation
• Coal face reinforcement
• Large or small cavity filling
The two-component resin is delivered by a pump unit and injected in a ratio of 1:1 by volume through a mixing gun. The resulting medium sets to produce an elastic, expanding mass with outstanding adhesive and compressive strength.
When injected into the strata, the medium flows into the cracks and fissures and rigidifies, thereby creating an elastic bond that is capable of retaining its integrity even after rock movement has occurred. Ultra-X Foam remains unaffected by water, therefore it will always expand to completely fill any void without compromising strength and expansion ability. In addition, Ultra-X Foam is fire-resistant.
The expansion ratio of Ultra-X Foam is approximately 40:1. Its low exothermic reaction allows large cavities to be filled completely in one pumping session without overheating.
